About Local File Converter

Local File Converter converts files entirely inside your own browser. There is no upload step, no server that sees your files, and no account — the conversion runs on your device using the browser's own image, audio, video and document engines (or a WebAssembly copy of them, for formats the browser can't handle natively).

Each tool on this site is scoped to exactly one conversion — for example JPG to PNG — so the page only loads the code it actually needs, and you can tell at a glance what a tool does and doesn't handle.
